PokerStars Bonus Code
PokerStars is by far the largest poker room on the Internet, with more players than the next three networks combined! As of August 2009, the best has become even better by offering one of the largest First Deposit Bonuses in the online poker industry.
PokerStars used to have a first deposit bonus of up to $50, but in August of 2009, you can now get up to $600 in free bonus money! With our exclusive PokerStars Bonus Codes you can get a whopping 100% matching bonus up to $600! That’s 12x the previous maximum bonus. Make sure you use the PokerStars Marketing Codes FLOPTURNRIVER when creating your account and then enter the PokerStars Bonus Code STARS600 when making your first deposit to take advantage of this incredible bonus offer.
The best part of the new bonus is that you do not need to deposit the full $600 at one time to still get the max bonus. You can continue to deposit up to two more times within a 90 day period and all three deposits will still count for your first deposit bonus. Just remember to use PokerStars Bonus Code STARS600 each time to get the extra money credited into your bonus account.
Earning your bonus is quite simple at PokerStars. All you need to do is play poker hands at real money games to earn VIP Player Points (VPPs). You need to earn 17x your bonus amount in VPPs to clear the entire bonus. So a $100 bonus would require 1700 VPPs or the full $600 bonus would require 10,200 VPPs.
For tournament players, either Sit & Go’s or Scheduled Tournaments, players are awarded 5 VPPs for every $1 that you pay in tournament fees. Cash games are a little more complicated. Points are awarded depending on the stakes and the game you are playing as well as the rake taken from the hand. There are standard VPP tables and then there are 5xVPP tables. The standard tables award 1 VPP when the rake reaches $.40 at poker games with stakes below $1/$2. If the rake reaches $2 at a 6-max table or $3 at any other table, they award a second VPP and if the rake reaches $5, they award a third VPP.
The new system is used only on all heads-up tables, full-ring tables up to $.25/$.50, full-ring no-limit tables up to $.05/$.10 and all 6-max tables for NL and PL Hold’em, PL Omaha (and Hi/Low) and limit games up to $.25/$.50. On these tables, VPPs are awarded by multiplying the rake by 5 and splitting the VPPs equally among everyone dealt into the hand. So for instance, in a $1/$2 6-max no-limit Hold’em game with all 6 seats full, if the rake reaches $2, they will award 10 VPPs ($2 x 5) and split them among the 6 players. So each player would receive 1.67 VPPs.
Every time you earn VPPs, you also earn Frequent Player Points (FPPs). FPPs can be used to buy additional bonuses or products from the VIP Store. You can also use them to buy-in to some tournaments. The more you play, the higher your VIP Status and the more FPPs you can earn. When used for cash bonuses, the FPP program works much like a rakeback program and you can check out this PokerStars Rakeback page for more info on exactly how that works.
Congratulations on joining the best online poker room in the world! Have fun earning your bonus dollars and making money at PokerStars!
